Established on March 5, 2018 within the body of Muş Alparslan University, the center was established to conduct research on the Middle Ages of Muş and its environs, especially the Seljuk history and Malazgirt, and to transform the researches into academic and popular publications and to create a written and visual accumulation within the framework of its field of interest. In this context, many studies and field studies have been carried out in Muş and its surroundings, especially in Manzikert. As part of the 2018 Manzikert Victory celebrations, He provided the distribution of six thousand copies of Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Alican's work "1071 Malazgirt; Kıyametin İlk Günü", which is about the Battle of Manzikert. Likewise, in 2018, he published the editorial book titled "Malazgirt Zaferi; Bin Yıllık Miras", which covers the importance and consequences of the Battle of Manzikert in Turkish history with many articles.
